Super Structures

Ages 5 - 14 Does your builder enjoy designing beautiful buildings or functional spaces for their mini-figures? If so, this program is the perfect space for your young architect to sharpen their design and building skills! All buildings, from the Empire State Building to the house next door, started as an idea in an architect’s head. Students will learn how to take an idea from their head and turn it into a building in the real world. They will be guided through the building process, from creating a floor plan to disaster-proofing the structure, so that they will be able to create the next best thing in LEGO® architecture!

$95.00 residents, $105.00 non-residents; min 10, max 14
Thursdays, January 20 - March 17; 5:30 - 6:30 pm; Guy L. Lefebvre Community Center (1277 Main Street)
No program Thursday, February 24; Make-up date Thursday, March 24 (if needed)

  • All youth programs will continue to require masks at all times.
  • All adult programs will require masks or proof of vaccination.
  • Proof of vaccination: a physical vaccine card or photograph of a person’s vaccine card, are both acceptable forms of proof.
  • Get a copy of your COVID-19 vaccine record through portal.ri.gov/VaccineRecord.
  • If you live in Rhode Island but got vaccinated against COVID-19 outside of Rhode Island, you can use the Immunization Record Correction form to add your information to the Rhode Island Child and Adult Immunization Registry (RICAIR).
  • Those who are showing symptoms of COVID-19 should not attend programs. Staff has the right to send a person home from a program who is displaying symptoms of the illness.
