*** Coventry Public Schools received COVID funds and will reimburse Coventry residents $400 of the resident base registration fee per child. Checks will be issued by the school department in July. This reimbursement excludes all non-residents and anyone who received financial assistance from Coventry Human Services. There is still space available in the Junior and Discovery divisions - you must register and pay in full by Friday, June 25, 2021 to be eligible for reimbursement. ***

Free Breakfast & Lunch Program:
Coventry Public Schools and Sodexo will provide breakfast and lunch for all children this summer. Please send your child with a refillable water bottle and a lunch box each day, so they have a place to store any extra food. You are welcome to send your child with supplemental food and drinks. Your child is not required to eat the provided meals, but you must send them with a full lunch.

Make this summer the BEST SUMMER EVER at the
Summer Kids Program!

This program is a fun mix of in-camp days, beach days, and field trips. Our main goal is to provide participants with a safe, fun, engaging, and enriching experience.

The Summer Kids Program is a six week day camp for children entering grades 1 through 8 in the fall. Participants are grouped by grade into the following divisions:

Pee Wee (completed K – 2 by 6/30/2021)
Junior (completed 3 & 4 by 6/30/2021)
Discovery (completed 5 – 7 by 6/30/2021)

Due to COVID-19 restrictions we have made some changes and aspects of the program will be different than in years past.

The participant count has been reduced
- Group sizes are smaller
- A free wait list is available

The number of field trips has been reduced for each division
- We will be the only group in attendance whenever possible
- All trips are to destinations in Rhode Island

The number of in-camp performers has been increased for each division
- Performances will be held outside whenever possible

Participants will follow a block schedule when not on field trips
- Each division will share staff, one to teach S.T.E.A.M. and another to teach Creative Arts
