Full Job Description

Overview
P/T Seasonal Basketball Operations Manager position requires a highly motivated, knowledgeable and dynamic individual who’s responsible to assist in the day-to-day organization of the summer basketball program.
Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing and coordinating teams and clinics
  • Coordinates all scheduling of athletic facilities for use by in-house basketball programs
  • Coordinates all aspects of department-sponsored basketball league, including registration, team assignments, team schedules, equipment and supplies, coach and staff recruitment and training, coach background checks, and publicity of programs.
  • Provide excellent phone and in person customer service when applicable
  • Attend staff meetings
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director
Requirements:
Required Skills, Experience, and Abilities
  • Recent graduate or current student of a 4 year college/university who has or is working towards a degree in Physical Education, Sports Management, or related field
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in a supervisory position related to athletics.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work individually and as a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional manner
  • Huge drive, ambition, and motivation for success with an outstanding work ethic
  • Planning and organizing, can prioritize work activities; uses time efficiently
  • Ability to work extended hours including nights and weekends
A comparable amount of training, education or experience may be substituted for the above minimum qualifications.
Compensation: DOQ
Seasonal: March through August 2021(league play starts in July)
